Kit includes everything needed to construct three Elastic Launch Gliders meeting the specifications for the Science Olympiad 2027 Division B rules. To maximize the glider dimensions, a custom-made box will be required, suggestions on how to design this box are included.
High performance glider that can be launched in standard gyms and be optimized for greater heights if needed. Features increased wingspan maximized to fit inside the box dimensions and meet minimum weight requirements.
Includes easy to follow instructions covering step-by-step building, flying, theory and strategy. This year’s kit includes two 27 inch strands of FAI Super Sport rubber (0.094" and 0.062") to create loops for harder or softer launches.
It is highly recommended to use a Launcher for improved consistency with this glider (available on the TOOLS page).
